Description:
Entity 106, nicknamed Tall Shadow by u/LcY2K07 is a tall creature, with long arms. The creature is somewhat humanoid. This creature is pitch black, and only moves in your peripheral vision. This entity is capable of reducing your sanity, and hurting you at extreme levels, to the point of suicide, just to get rid of the pain. The entity will harm you without killing you. It has red eyes that glow when the entity is about to attack. It is seen seemingly randomly, but usually is seen in an area without pipes in Level -8. It usually roams around areas that wanderers explore. It is also usually seen a few moments after a flood, or even during a flood. This entity is thought to be able to breath underwater.
Behaviors:
Entity 106 will attempt to scare wanderers 3-5 times before attempting to attack. This usually consists clawing at the arms and legs, and this can rarely result in complete loss of appendages. Entity 106 seemingly does not attempt to fatally wound those it comes across. This makes the entity one of the worst in the backrooms. The reason behind this is that it feels fulfilled by hurting and torturing others. It also seems to have the ability to teleport, seemingly looking at you from one corner, and then another. Another ability of this entity is No-Clipping. This entity can no clip at will, and will use it to attack a wanderer from behind. It also dislikes being looked at, and will get angry and no clip if it sees a wanderer looking at it. The entity is known to be very quiet, not making a sound no matter what, to avoid detection, and direct eye contact.
Biology:
This entity is 2.5 meters tall, and needs to crouch while in small areas of the mines. Its legs make up 1 meter of its height, its torso makes up 1 meter of its height, and its head makes up 0.5 meters of its height. It is very thin, and seems to have either no bones, or very thin bones. Its arms have been reported to be over 1.5 meters long. The reason its arms are so long, is because it will grab you from a distance behind to torture you. Its fingers are sharp, like knives, which helps with attacks. Its teeth are sharp and black, and the entity seems to have hundreds of teeth. Its eyes glow red when it is about to attack, but normally, they glow black. When its eyes glow black, the entity is still noticeable. This is possibly because its eyes are so dark that they absorb all light, similarly to a black hole.
Discovery:
Four men were sent by the M.E.G. to explore Level -8 further, and document their discoveries. They reported seeing "two red eyes staring at them from the corner" and "shadowy figures moving around them". The discovery was made somewhere in mid 2020, but the exact date is still unknown, as the travellers are deceased, and the logs have mysteriously vanished, with no trace to where they have gone. Only one person has memorized the log (Log 7381), and has given us an approximate recreation to what occured.
Documentation
Recently, a group of 5 men were sent to explore Level -8, and document their discoveries. They were sent to update the M.E.G. with any new discoveries they find. So far, one of the men has died, and four remain. The identities of three of the men are hidden, and only one of them has revealed who they were on reddit. The explorer that is known is u/Lcy2k07, and he was most likely sent due to his expierience in the backrooms. He was the one that reported one of the men dead, and he has also taken another photo of the entity.

- Back away slowly
- Run if you see red eyes glowing bright
- Keep your sanity up.
- The entity only attacks people with lower sanity, which is why it doesn't attack instantly, but instead lowers the wanderers sanity by running around the wanderer
