Level 415

Level 415 is the 416th Level of the Backrooms. It was discovered by an expedition team on April 15, 2009.

Description

Level 415 is a huge modern library with a total of nine floors, the height of each floor is about 4 meters. Any outside light sources, such as flashlights, lanterns, and windows will provide no light in this level.

The number of books on the shelves and the quantity of hostile entities gradually increase with each floor, as higher floors tend to have more books and entities than lower floors do. Thus, if one cannot locate the signs indicating the floor number, they can look at the books on the shelves to easily determine that.

Blue sofas and small white bookshelves appear in random positions on the floor. Almond water also appears randomly on the white tables. The WiFi connection varies with the height of the building, with better WiFi being on higher floors. The books on the shelves are of different sizes and colors, and the content that these books usually display is usually about astronomy and physics, and is told in a terribly boring tone. Level 415's books almost always produce a faint scent, this scent will make the wanderer sleepy, so that the wanderer will fall asleep within 3 minutes. During these 3 minutes, some black or gray dots will appear in the vision of the wanderer. Small circular dots will grow in size over time until the homeless person falls asleep, but wearing a mask seems to protect against the effects of the books. At present, M.E.G. has not studied the composition of this gas.

Entities

Librarian

The Librarians are docile entities. They can be wearing a white or blue shirt, trousers, and a black or white hat. They are usually on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. While typically docile, they are sensitive to sound and can be very aggressive towards the person making the sound.

Engineer

Engineers are docile entities. They usually wear gray or blue overalls, trousers, and a pair of black or brown shoes, along with paper bags on their heads. Attempting to take the paper bags off their heads will cause them to become increasingly hostile. They usually operate on the 4th, 6th, 7th, and 9th floors.

Marking camouflage

Marking camouflage usually sits quietly on a wall and pretends to be a painting. When conditions are met, Marking camouflage can move, but it can only move on planes, such as walls, floors, and desktops. Any entities or creatures that come close are grabbed and dragged into the wall, becoming their own kind. Once they are successfully dragged in, there is no possibility of escape, and the location and condition of the creatures after being dragged by them have not yet been ascertained.

Marking camouflage is hostile to all entities except itself, so Marking camouflage is often seen fighting with other entities, but without exception, Marking camouflage wins. The Marking camouflage can be washed away from the surface it is attached to with almond water and the Marking camouflage will disappear.
